They followed through on every promise they made. I was uneasy about dealing out of state but these guys will take care of youPosted on Kira Villarreal My husband and I purchased a 2019 Cat 289 skid steer from the guys over at Rampart Equipment. All I can say is I more then highly recommend these guys. From being a buyer from Bozeman Montana I had several questions. On top of that making a big purchase sight unseen was a little nerve wracking. However, the sales team did an incredible job walking me through every step start to finish. They got me financed at an incredible rate and the term that was just right for our needs. I did a lot of shopping around to try and find the best deal for a machine. Rampart Equipment not only had the best priced machine in the entire country but the machine was in immaculate condition. I can't thank these guys enough and I can't recommend them enough! I will definitely come to them with any other future purchases I will make! This is one company you can never go wrong with and will deliver unmatched results over any other competitor!Posted on Lisa Hope Me and my husband purchased a New Holland L170 from this company. We haven’t had any issues with it so far and they got us in and out and made us feel like family. We will be returning. Thank you Rampart equipment!
Dozer Rental FAQs
What size dozer is best for my job?
Choosing the right dozer size depends on the type of work you’re tackling, the material you need to move, and the conditions of the terrain. Mid-sized dozers are often the most practical option because they balance strength with maneuverability. We offer a full range of dozer sizes to match your project requirements.
Do your rentals include an operator?
No, our rentals are equipment-only. You’ll need to supply a qualified operator for the machine.
Do you provide delivery and pickup for dozer rentals?
Yes, pickup and delivery are available for all rental equipment at an additional charge. Contact us for details.
What’s required to rent a dozer?
To complete a rental, you’ll need a valid ID, the job site location, proof of insurance, and a signed rental agreement.
Is fuel included, or do I need to refill the machine?
Equipment should be returned with the same fuel level it had when it was rented out.
Which dozer brands do you carry?
We primarily stock Caterpillar (CAT) dozers.
What if the dozer has an issue during the rental period?
If the machine experiences a breakdown, our service team will handle repairs at no additional cost to you.
Do you offer lower prices for long-term rentals?
Yes, we do offer discounts for long-term rentals. Share your project details with us, and we’ll go over available options.
Do you deliver dozers to eastern Aurora or the surrounding plains?
Yes, we provide heavy equipment delivery throughout all of Aurora, including Murphy Creek, Heritage Eagle Bend, and the newer developments near Watkins. While the terrain in Aurora is generally flatter than the foothills, for our larger CAT D5 or D6 models, we still require a clear, stable offloading zone that can support a heavy-haul trailer. If your site has limited access or soft shoulders, please let us know so we can plan a safe delivery.
Is a CAT dozer powerful enough for the soil in Aurora?
Absolutely. We primarily rent CAT dozers because their high-drive systems provide the superior traction needed to push through heavy clay. If you are working on raw land or a site with high compaction, we recommend a model with a ripper attachment to break up the hardpan before grading.
Does your equipment meet Aurora’s environmental standards?
Yes. To support the Denver Metro area’s air quality initiatives, our fleet is kept up-to-date with modern technology. Our CAT dozers are Tier 4 Final compliant, meeting the strictest EPA emissions standards. This ensures you can operate on municipal job sites, near the Anschutz Medical Campus, or within any sensitive Aurora residential zones without compliance issues.
What is your policy on frozen ground in Aurora?
Winter on the eastern plains can be harsh, and the wind chill in Aurora often leads to a deep frost line. If the ground is frozen solid (typically January and February), dozer production will be significantly slower and harder on the undercarriage. We provide fully winterized equipment, but we suggest monitoring the local forecast before your rental begins; we cannot pause billing due to frozen ground once the machine has been delivered.
Do I need a special permit to run a dozer in Aurora?
While we provide the equipment, you are responsible for obtaining any Stormwater Control Measures (SCMs) or other building permits required by the City of Aurora. If your project is near the Sand Creek Greenway or Cherry Creek Spillway, you will likely need specific erosion control measures like silt fencing. We recommend contacting Aurora Public Works or the Aurora Building Division to confirm your requirements.
How do I handle "Call Before You Dig" (811) for my Aurora site?
Before we deliver your dozer, you must have your site marked by Colorado 811. Aurora has a complex grid of underground utilities, including major water transmission lines from Aurora Water. Because the city is growing so rapidly, new fiber lines are constantly being added. Ensure your “locates” are fresh and all flags are visible before you begin your first pass.
